Since 1992, the College of the Extended University and the College of Business Administration have jointly offered a Master of Business Administration degree program at different locations in major Southland cities. This program caters to those either holding or desiring managerial positions in business, industry, or government. The Professional MBA Program (PMBA) is identical to the on-campus program--same faculty, same accreditation, same graduation ceremony--except the service and convenience components have been elevated.
This program is not just an extension of a bachelor's degree; it is immersion in Cal Poly Pomona's "hands-on" pragmatic approach to education.
The PMBA program is open to students who hold a bachelor's degree in any discipline from an accredited college or university. Students are admitted to the program each quarter.
