TitleGIS Data and Geodatabases (Summer 2014)
Description This course introduces the basic concepts of GIS database and data development for common tasks. Concepts and techniques taught in the class include: geodatabase concepts and development, data preparation and conversion, integration of web-based data sources, and management of spatial data. Students will be working on real world based exercises to develop skills on designing, maintaining, and developing GIS data to support GIS analysis, visualization and other needs. An introductory GIS knowledge is assumed.

Corporate and Group Discounts:
• Multi-Registration Discount: Register and pay for eight (8) or more people in one course in the GIS certificate program and receive a 5% discount.
• Multi-Registration/Multi-Course Discount: Register and pay for 10 or more people for all four (4) courses in the GIS certificate program at one time, prior to the first course meeting, and receive a 10% discount on the entire program. No refunds will be processed after first course.

Please Note: Only one discount or promotion per person, per class is allowed. Discounts and/or promotions cannot be combined with any other discount offer.
Refund Policy Non-Credit Courses with Three or Fewer Class Meetings*
A full refund will be issued if the refund request is received by the College of the Extended University prior to the first class meeting. No refunds will be issued after the start of the first class meeting.

A full refund will be issued for cancelled classes.
