Grant Writing Certificate

Grant writing is a key component in securing funding for special programs and day-to-day upkeep for many organizations. During the application process, an organization seeking financial assistance explains what exactly they are setting out to do, how much money will be needed to accomplish their goals and how the results will be measured. Nonprofit organizations, both large and small, all compete for the same limited funds. Furthermore, because of the decline in federal funding, many for-profit companies who work with the government and public agencies submit grant proposals as well. There is a growing need for well-trained, talented grant writers to secure funding for programs, initiatives and other organizational causes.
