Our Green Meeting Industry Council (GMIC) endorsed program is one of only a few online certificate programs available today that addresses the growing need to apply sustainable practices to meeting and event management. This certificate is ideal for seasoned professionals as well as those who are new to the meeting and event management field.

Overview

 

This three-course certificate program will enhance the participant’s knowledge of sustainable event essentials, increasing profitability while reducing environmental impact and the principles of sustainable meeting and event standards.

The main objective of the certification is to teach students the basic principles and essential elements of sustainable event management and planning. Participants will learn the basics of planning a sustainable event, how to be eco-efficient in their planning and execution, and about industry standards.
