  Employee safety is essential to the efficiency of an organization. In 1970, Congress passed the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHAct) to guarantee a safe and healthy working environment for every employee.

Overview

  This OSHA Program introduces participants to the profession of workplace safety. Participants will secure the knowledge of being OSHA compliant, all while creating a safer environment and healthier staff.

Benefits / Objectives

  Participants will learn OSHA rules intent on reducing injuries and illness in the workplace. Translating to less employee absence, more productivity on the job, a safer environment and a healthier staff, an organization is able to see an increase in employee morale and a decrease in litigation risk.

Fundamentals of Safety in the Workplace

Intended Audience

  Courses in OSHA are recommended for anyone interested in expanding their knowledge and skills in the fundamentals of workplace safety. Those who are interested in the safety field or are currently working in this area will also benefit from taking the course.



Awarded Certificate

  Upon successful completion of the Fundamentals of Safety in the Workplace Certificate, students will be awarded a certificate of completion.
