Applying Six Sigma tools within your company reduces variation, improves processes and increases profit. It is internationally recognized as a methodology for accelerating process improvement in businesses. Motorola first developed the Six Sigma methodology in the eighties, and since its inception has reportedly saved the company billions of dollars. Today, it is extensively adopted by companies of all types and sizes.

Overview

  The Six Sigma Program consists of four separate certificates, Introduction to Six Sigma for Managers, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Six Sigma Green Belt: Manufacturing and Six Sigma Green Belt: Service. These certificate programs can be taken separately or as a series, and are instructor-led with theory, examples and hands-on training. The program will help students understand the philosophy and methodologies for creating continuous improvement in manufacturing or service industry.

Benefits / Objectives

  Upon completion, Introduction to Six Sigma for Managers students will be able to understand and communicate with Green and Black Belts. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Six Sigma Green Belt: Manufacturing and Six Sigma Green Belt: Service students will learn how to apply the appropriate Six Sigma tools, and be productive members of a Six Sigma team.

Introduction to Six Sigma for Managers Certificate (8 hours) - Online
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate (40 hours)
Six Sigma Green Belt: Manufacturing Certificate (40 hours)
Six Sigma Green Belt: Service Certificate (40 hours)

  This program is recommended for engineers, analysts and managers who may be involved with Six Sigma projects. It is designed for individuals in various industries such as manufacturing, government agencies, healthcare, financial services, computer and electronics, aerospace and defense, among others.



Awarded Certificate

  Upon successful completion of Introduction to Six Sigma for Managers, students will be awarded the Introduction to Six Sigma for Managers Certificate. Upon successful completion of Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, students will be awarded the Six Sigma Green Belt: Service Certificate. Upon successful completion of Six Sigma Green Belt: Manufacturing, students will be awarded the Six Sigma Green Belt: Manufacturing Certificate. Upon successful completion of Six Sigma Green Belt: Service, students will be awarded the Six Sigma Green Belt: Service Certificate.
