The Event Management Certificate Program is comprised of two 10-week courses–Social Functions and Community Activities and Corporate Events and Meetings Management.
Social Functions and Community Activities – Learn the skills and techniques to plan and execute great social functions and community activities. Starting with the goals and objectives to be accomplished with each event, the event planner must coordinate with clients, vendors, and/or committee members to make the event a success. Whether it's a family party, fundraiser, birthday, anniversary, retirement party, Bar or Bat Mitzvah, or Quinseria learn how to create an event that is memorable from start to finish. This course is a prerequisite to the Corporate Events and Meetings Management.
Corporate Events and Meetings Management - Learn the skills and techniques to plan and execute great corporate events and meetings. Whether it’s a special corporate retreat, educational events, board or committee meetings, conferences and trade shows, each of these events requires careful planning and execution. Starting with the goals and objectives to be accomplished with each event, the corporate event planner must know how to coordinate with executives, internal staff, clients and vendors to make the event a success. Learn the skills and techniques that will take these events from ordinary to extraordinary.
