The College of the Extended University (CEU) at Cal Poly Pomona has been providing training and managing international assistance and development programs for over a decade. We have worked in or with groups from many countries, including China, Bulgaria, Swaziland, Cyprus, Turkey, South Korea, and Vietnam. We have active university partnerships with institutions in Armenia, Bulgaria, and Russia. Our programs have spanned topics from agriculture to venture capital.
As one of the university’s major outreach tools specifically created to link California State Polytechnic University, Pomona to the numerous and diverse constituencies and communities in Southern California, CEU is dedicated to providing stimulating and dynamic continuing education programs to its customers in new and innovative ways.
Over the years, CEU has established itself as a mechanism for providing the community with a broad base of programs ranging from off-campus degree programs to professional development and personal enrichment opportunities. We currently offer over 1,500 courses ranging from credit courses and degree programs to business and management, trade and technical certificates and personal enrichment classes.
Our programs are designed to meet the needs of working professionals (non-traditional students) wanting to enhance their career opportunities along with those traditional students needing additional programs not offered through the university.
