Center for Training, Technology & Incubation

The Center for Training, Technology & Incubation (CTTI) is currently the headquarters of the College of the Extended University and home to a number of select early stage technology companies.

Initiated by a partnership with NASA and the U.S Economic Development Administration (EDA), CTTI houses the entrepreneurial element of Innovation Village, the 65-acre research park located on the Cal Poly Pomona campus. CTTI offers lease space in flexible sizes inclusive of office, R&D, wet labs and light industrial.

Early stage companies residing at CTTI find an environment that fosters communication among entrepreneurs and facilitates collaboration with Cal Poly Pomona University researchers and students. As a result, a robust technology commercialization infrastructure is in place, capable of facilitating public-private technology development among faculty, students, and private sector entrepreneurs which have the potential to create jobs, revitalize neighborhoods, commercialize new technologies, and strengthen local and national economies.

CTTI has served as the home for numerous start-up companies producing products such as sensors and medical devices, electronic circuitry, telecommunications and chips.  A second round of funding by EDA in 2007 will result in the construction of two additional wet labs by February 2009.
